A book store close to me is having a free-comic book day Saturday.

According to the story, dozens of comic book stores from all over the region will be donating comics to give away to people.
When they were listing a few examples of what they would have, adaptations of 24, The Shield and CSI came up( the first two really grapping my attention). Nothing was said of Spawn, but they'll almost assuredly have some.

Here's to hoping Saturday will be a good score day.

I'm pretty sure, if I'm thinking of the same thing, this is an international thing. It's run every year.

Yep - ASaturday is international Comic book day.
I need to go down and grab the image one as it has some Spawn info in it.

I think it's just one comic per person.

I'm trying to persuade additional non-comic fan members of the family to go, which equals more comics for me. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Here, it's one of each comic. I'll just get em all, just like last year. Only one I missed out on was Archie. Boo freaking hoo [img]wink.gif[/img] Teen Titans should be a good one though, best of last year was the robocop sampler I would say, the art was beautiful.

The next few days are going to be great.

I got a huge haul coming from Toymaniacs.com, free comics this weekend, and I'm having probably the best sociable time with friends at the local recreation center, which is not a usual thing. I'm usually very lonely in life.
